Discovery Flight Information

     Welcome to A.C.E.S. (Aviation Career Education & Services)! We’re very glad that you chose us for your first flight experience. We certainly hope that it is the first of many more. The aircraft you will be flying is a training aircraft that meets all the FAA requirements for safety inspections. All inspection documents are made available upon request. You may bring an extra person along on your experience for a $55 surcharge, however, there is a passenger weight limit.

     The experience will consist of a short safety briefing in the terminal building prior to your flight and approximately 45 minutes of flight time in the air. A comfortable headset will be provided to you for use in the aircraft. Once in the air you should expect to take the controls upon the direction of your instructor. However, if you don’t feel comfortable doing so, just let the instructor know that you decline. If for any reason you wish to discontinue the flight, we will immediately return to the airport. However, due to the expense of the instructor and aircraft there are no refunds.

Items to bring:

● Government issued photo ID

● Payment Voucher / Certificate or method of payment.

● Air Sick bag (Zip Loc One Gallon works best)

● Signed Liability Waiver

● Camera (Cell Phone) for pictures / video of your experience.

Be Sure To:

● Call before traveling to the airport in order to confirm weather or maintenance hasn’t created a change to the schedule.

● Comply with all of the instructions and directions from your certified flight instructor. It is against Federal Law to interfere with the “Pilot In Command” of the aircraft. Stay in close proximity of your flight instructor while walking to and from the terminal building and the aircraft. This is for your protection from other aircraft and equipment.

● Ask questions. As the saying goes “There’s no such thing as a dumb question” Teaching is what our flight instructors do, and they enjoy answering questions.

Payment Methods: (Cash, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, Credit Card)

● Payment is expected upon completion of your flight. If you request an invoice and/or receipt, your checkout flight instructor will be happy to provide one to you.

● There is no extra charge for Cash, Zelle, CashApp, or Venmo. If you’d like to pay with your credit card there will be a 3.5% processing fee added to your bill.
